Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. They're used to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and help us understand how Chiro Stride is being used so we can improve it. This page lists every cookie we set and what it's for.

Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the application to function. You cannot disable them and still use Chiro Stride.

  • Supabase auth tokens — signs you in and keeps your session alive across page loads. Set by our authentication provider (Supabase) on the chirostride.com domain. Expires when you sign out or after inactivity.
  • admin_session — used only for staff access to internal admin tools. Not set on practitioner or owner accounts. 7-day expiry.

Analytics

These help us understand which features are used and where users get stuck. They do not identify you personally and do not contain veterinary or client data.

  • Vercel Analytics — anonymous page-view metrics (path, country, device class, referrer). No persistent identifier; cannot follow you across sessions.
  • Vercel Speed Insights — anonymous performance metrics (page load time, etc.). No persistent identifier.
  • Sentry — error monitoring. We capture stack traces and request context to help us fix bugs. We have explicitly disabled the collection of personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, phone numbers, and addresses. Stack traces are retained for 90 days.

No advertising or third-party tracking

Chiro Stride does not set advertising cookies, behavioral tracking cookies, or third-party social media cookies. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers. Veterinary records, client information, and animal health data are never used for analytics or marketing.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note that clearing the Supabase auth cookie will sign you out, and blocking it will prevent you from signing in.

Most browsers also offer a "do not track" setting. Vercel Analytics and Sentry both honor this setting where available.

Changes to this policy

If we add, remove, or change how a cookie is used, we will update this page and bump the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will also be communicated via email to active practitioners.
