Cookie & Browser Storage Policy

Last Updated: July 10, 2026

Cookies and related storage

Cookies are small text files that websites store on a device. Chiro Stride also uses related browser technologies such as localStorage, IndexedDB, Cache Storage, and service-worker caches for authentication, preferences, supported offline workflows, and queued changes. The exact storage entries can change as browsers and the product evolve; this page describes the categories and purposes currently used.

Strictly necessary

These storage items support authentication and application operation. Blocking or clearing them can prevent parts of Chiro Stride from working.

  • Supabase authentication session — Supabase-managed session data in Chiro Stride browser storage signs you in and can restore the session across page loads. Session data expires or is removed according to the authentication flow, and signing out clears the active session.
  • admin_session — used only for staff access to internal admin tools. Not set on practitioner or owner accounts. 7-day expiry.

Analytics

These services help us understand product usage, performance, and technical failures. They are configured to limit personal information, but technical events can still include information such as a page path, browser details, timing data, stack trace, or request context.

  • Vercel Analytics — aggregate page-view and product-event metrics such as path, approximate country, device class, and referrer. Chiro Stride does not use these metrics to build advertising profiles.
  • Vercel Speed Insights — page-load and responsiveness measurements used to identify performance problems.
  • Sentry — error and performance monitoring. The SDK is configured with default PII collection disabled. Error events can still include technical context such as a stack trace, page path, or error message, so we do not describe every event as anonymous. Retention is governed by Chiro Stride's configured Sentry plan and applicable provider settings.

No advertising profiles

Chiro Stride does not intentionally set advertising cookies, create cross-site advertising profiles, or sell personal information to advertisers. We do not intentionally use veterinary records, client information, or animal health data for advertising. Service providers process limited data as described in the Privacy Policy when they provide hosting, authentication, analytics, monitoring, communication, payment, or other configured services.

Managing browser data

You can clear or block cookies and related site data through your browser or operating-system settings. Clearing Chiro Stride site data can sign you out and can remove locally cached records, unsynced drafts, photos, preferences, biometric offline-unlock data, or queued changes. Confirm that supported offline work has synced before clearing data or transferring a device.

Changes to this policy

If we add, remove, or change how a cookie is used, we will update this page and bump the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will also be communicated via email to active practitioners.
