Terms of Service

Last Updated: July 10, 2026

1. Service Description

Chiro Stride is a practice management software platform specifically designed for animal chiropractic practitioners. The service provides tools for managing patient records, scheduling appointments, creating and storing clinical notes, managing invoices and payments, and other practice administration functions related to animal chiropractic care.

2. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the service only for legitimate animal chiropractic practice management purposes
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including animal welfare laws and professional practice regulations
  • Maintain the accuracy of all information you enter into the system
  • Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials and API keys
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account
  • Not use the service for any illegal or unethical purposes

3. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you store in Chiro Stride, including patient records, medical notes, contact information, and billing information. We do not claim ownership of your data. You grant us a license to store, process, and maintain your data for the purpose of providing the service to you.

4. Animal Records, Professional Use, and Technology Limitations

Animal-product scope and HIPAA. Chiro Stride's Animal product is intended for animal records and is not offered for storing human protected health information. Do not enter human PHI into Animal workflows. HIPAA applicability depends on the parties, functions, data, and contracts involved. A covered entity may use a Chiro Stride offering for human PHI only under a separate written arrangement, including a business associate agreement where required.

Professional judgment and regulation. Chiro Stride is practice-management and documentation software. It does not provide veterinary, medical, legal, accounting, or tax advice; diagnose an animal; recommend treatment; or determine whether your practice satisfies licensure, scope-of-practice, referral, authorization, supervision, consent, signature, or record-retention requirements. You remain responsible for clinical decisions, record accuracy, professional judgment, and verifying current requirements with the applicable boards and qualified advisers.

Transcription and generated content. Transcription, owner summaries, and other generated text may be incomplete, inaccurate, or omit relevant context. Outputs are drafts only. You must review, correct, and approve content before relying on it, signing a record, or sending it to an owner, veterinarian, or other recipient.

Electronic signatures. The service can capture electronic signatures and related records, but Chiro Stride does not guarantee that a particular form, signature, delivery method, attribution process, or retained copy satisfies the law or professional rule that applies in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for confirming those requirements.

Offline and device storage. Offline availability depends on prior caching, the supported workflow, browser and device capabilities, available storage, and later connectivity. Supported records, drafts, photos, credentials, or queued changes may remain in browser storage on the device until they sync, expire, or are cleared. You are responsible for device access controls, operating-system security, backups where appropriate, and clearing local data before transferring or disposing of a device.

5. Payment Terms

Pricing is offered on a subscription basis:

  • Monthly Plan: $59.99 USD per month, billed monthly
  • Annual Plan: $499 USD per year, billed annually

The 30-day trial does not require a payment card and does not automatically convert to a paid subscription. A paid subscription begins only when you choose a plan and complete Stripe Checkout. You are charged when the paid subscription begins, and the subscription then renews on the applicable monthly or annual renewal date until you cancel renewal. Payment is processed through Stripe and charged to the payment method you provide. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added where required by law.

6. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel renewal at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@chirostride.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period, and access continues through that period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months or refunds for unused portions of an annual subscription, except where required by law.

7. SMS and Communications

Chiro Stride may send transactional or service-related email about your account. Creating an account by itself does not constitute consent to receive marketing text messages. SMS is sent only when the applicable recipient has provided the consent or other permission required for that message.

  • Practitioners are responsible for obtaining and documenting any consent required before sending messages to owners or other recipients through Chiro Stride
  • An in-app reminder preference is not a substitute for any legally required consent
  • Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by usage
  • Recipients may reply STOP to opt out of supported SMS communications, and other reasonable revocation requests should be directed to the sending practice or to hello@chirostride.com

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHIRO STRIDE AND ITS OWNERS, MANAGERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Third-Party Services

Chiro Stride uses or integrates with third-party services including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (subscription and payment processing), Twilio (SMS), OpenAI (optional transcription or generated-content features), Resend (email), QuickBooks Online (optional accounting sync), Vercel (hosting and product analytics), and Sentry (error and performance monitoring). Connected features may require a separate third-party account, authorization, internet connection, eligibility, or fee. Your use of those services is also subject to their applicable terms and privacy policies. Chiro Stride does not control their availability or independent security and privacy practices.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
